Age 77, passed away July 30, 2024 at home with family by his side. Vic was born January 21, 1947 to the late Victor Sr. and Maxine (Castor) Campbell in Kalamazoo, MI. He graduated from Portage Central High School in 1965 and went on to become a journeyman pipefitter and retired from the Upjohn/Pfizer Company after twenty-eight years of service. In 1970, he married Carol (Scmid) Campbell. They celebrated their 54th anniversary this year. In 1977 they adopted their son, Mark Campbell, who brought great joy to their lives. One of Vic's greatest enjoyments was waterskiing with friends on Austin Lake. When he had to give that up, he found his second joy, riding his Harly Davidson. Vic and Carol had many beautiful trips with friends across the country with Nova Scotia being one of their favorites. After a ride you could often find him enjoying a Gentleman Jack and cigar. Vic's smile, laughter and kindness will be missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Mark (Kelley) Campbell; grandchildren, Madison, Maci and Ryder Campbell; sister, Dolores Linstead; brother and sister-in-laws, Don (Terry) Schmid, Don (Mary) Joostberns and Woody Byers; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Vic was also preceded in passing by a sister, MaryAnn Byers.
