Branden Mark Ruelas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Branden Mark Ruelas (Kalamazoo, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 50. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Branden Mark Ruelas to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his stepparents, Nancy Ruelas and Randy Winterowd; his father-in-law Gerald "Jerry" Carpenter, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Gerald "Jerry" Carpenter, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Peter Ruelas and Jo Winterowd (Ruelas); his wife Sarah Ruelas (Carpenter); his children, Ciera Ruelas, Pedro Ruelas (Kerri), Franchesca Webster (Ryan), Skyler Ruelas, Maya Ruelas, Anya Ruelas and Sawyer Ruelas; his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Keiera, Riley, Ayrianna, Kinsley, Xavier, Xavion, Killian and Kaisen; his brothers, Anthony Ruelas (Carla) and Juan Ruelas (Laura); his mother-in-law Bette Carpenter; and his siblings-in-law, Scott Carpenter (Courtney), Diane Carpenter, Rebecca Worthington (James), Amelia Carpenter and Deborah Carpenter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northeastern Baptist Church (6536 E G Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49048). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Contributions in memory of Branden may be made to the children's education fund being established by Old National Bank, with checks being made payable to Sarah Ruelas with Branden Ruelas Memorial Fund in the memo line.
