It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Veldman of Jenison, Michigan, born in Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fayette Decker and Ruth Decker (Rowell); her husband Bob Veldman; her children, Carol Lane Strickland, Jim, John and Joe Popma; and her grandsons, Jeffery J. Popma and Don Zomberg.

She is survived by: her children, Jan Zomberg (Bill), Cathy Short, Bob Veldman (Julie) and Jeff Popma (Deb). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
