He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Hamelink and Esther Hamelink; his parents-in-law, Vincent and Marie Vicarie; his brother Gary Hamelink; his cousin Harold Steele; and his brother-in-law Vincent Todd Vicarie.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Hamelink; his children, L. Robert Hamelink (Linda), Rebecca Davis and Brenda DeZeeuw (Lee); his grandchildren, Anthony Davis (Hannah), Tylan Davis (Jessica), Austin Hamelink, Corden DeZeeuw (Colette), Raniah Davis, Allison Hamelink, Gracie Schupbach (Aydin), Trystan Moore and Vijay DeZeeuw; his siblings, Bill Hamelin, Donald Hamelink (Nancy), George R. Hamelink (Shirley), Joyce Molino (Dan) and Janice Mancuso; his sister-in-law Anita Vicarie; and his friends, Bud Light, Jackie Gleason and Carol Burnett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
