It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katheryn Barbara Alsum of Jenison, Michigan, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Seymour Alsum; and her siblings, Sabo, Jo Ann and Billy. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Van Essendelft (Lou), Bob Alsum (Terry) and Thea Corder (Steve); her granddaughter Esther Johnson (Pete); her children, Dirk Van Essendelft (Sarah), Joel Alsum (Michelle), Shaun Alsum, Kira Fixx (James), Erica Blan and Jamie Corder; and her great grandchildren, Eloise, Gabrielle Johnson, Levi, Caleb Van Essendelft, Ava Alsum and Asherae Blan.
