He is survived by: his wife Tena Dykman VanderHelm; his children, Mary (Nick Flacco), Bern (Tracy VanderHelm), Herm (Karen VanderHelm), Marcia (Dean Allen), Roger (Terri VanderHelm), Steve (Kim VanderHelm) and Rob Vande Guchte; his stepchildren, Kathy Towers, Dan, Kim Dykman, Ken and Patty Dykman; his grandchildren, Kyle VanderHelm, Ryan VanderHelm, Eric VanderHelm, Jeremiah VanderHelm, Rebekah VanderHelm, Tara, Chad Hudson, Eric Oppenhuizen, Kristin VanderHelm, Andrew VanderHelm, Michelle, Brad Duggan, Steven, Katie Dykman, Kelly Dykman, Mike, Audree Towers, Thomas, Katelyn Dykman, Nick Allen, Kaelee Allen, Justin, Danielle Allen, Zach Vande Guchte, Josh, Kristin Vande Guchte, Beth VanThiel, Michael, Stephanie VanderHelm, Jordan, Jamie Flacco, Nicole Flacco and Zach Agrums; his sister Annie Boerema; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy VanDyke, Annie Agema and Marilouise Woltjer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
