He was predeceased by: his wife Jane; his son-in-law Doug Wedekind; his grandson Mike Gordon; his siblings, Marie Hoekstra and Bob Kuiper; and his sister-in-law Nancy Kuiper.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Wedekind, Beth (Dan Butler), Diane (Joe Bryant) and Craig (Shar Kuiper); his grandchildren, Carey Gordon, Kathy, Jim VanDorp, Jennie, Jay Gipson, Jim Wedekind, Brad, Kelly Butler, Tammy Butler, Jason, Alyssa Butler, Josh Butler, Caitlyn Bryant, Jake Bryant, Brandon, Alaina Kuiper, Benjamin Kuiper, Brady Kuiper and Jonathan Kuiper; and his siblings, Henry Kuiper, Jake (Shirley Kuiper), Gerald (Bonnie Kuiper), Etta (Bob Van Dyke), Clare (Jan Kuiper), Sharon (Al Brummel), Mary (Art Bleyenberg), John Hoekstra, Betty (Rich Peterson) and Linda (Ron Corson). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
