She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Grit; and her sisters, Adeline Driggs, Patricia Hoogstra and Beverly Mergener. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Grit and Cheryl DeJong (Nick); her granddaughters, Allison Veldkamp (Brian) and Katelin VandenBerg (Trevor); and her great grandchildren, Madison, Everett, Julia, Lucas Veldkamp, Jeremiah and Hendrik VandenBerg.
