He is survived by: his children, Jan Tompkins (Mike), Daniel Wierenga (Sue), Jack Wierenga (Lori) and Craig Wierenga (Amy); his grandchildren, Lyndsay (Jake), Jordan, Tory, Kara (Jordan), Jennifer (Kevin), Joshua, Ryan (Chessa), Kylee (Dustin), Alexis, Eric (Jamie) and Rachael (Paul); his great grandchildren, Bretyn, Ella, Emerson, Josephine, Brody, Ashton, Jaxon, Olivia and Parker; his siblings, Roger Wierenga and Phyllis; his brother-in-law Rodger DeVries; his sister Marge Faber; his sisters-in-law, Elaine Wierenga and Marcia Schutter; his brother Russ; and his sister-in-law Bernice Marcusse. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
