She was predeceased by: her sister Barbara O'Hara. She is survived by: her friend Cathy; her husband Mike; her children, Deb, Rob Smitter, Eric and Alma Pennell; her grandchildren, Allison, Nate, Mike Misner and Alex Pennell; her sisters-in-law, Sue Pennell and Marjorie Pennell; her close friend Bonnie Cummings; and also Cathy.
About four years ago, Cathy had a stem cell transplant, and after many months of recovery, just as she was able to start meeting with friends again, the world went into lockdown with the pandemic.
