She was predeceased by: her former husband EJ Deters; her husband John R. Bogema; her siblings, Robert Formsma (Jane Ann), Donald Formsma (Wanda), Helen Rozema (Dale) and Jack Formsma; and her brother-in-law Peter Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, David (Karen Deters), Debra Deters (Jeff Kolk), Mary Lou Bogema, Patricia Ann (Martin Vonk) and Kay Ellen (Bruce Wolters); her grandchildren, Erin McDowell (Bill), Justin Deters (Katrina), Abby Nowicki (Ronnie) and Tyler Wolters (Victory); her great grandchildren, Emme, Liam, Raelyn and Leo; her sister Leanore Peterson; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Formsma and Gladys Kessel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
