She was predeceased by: her former husband Orrie Bennett; her sister Carol; and her brothers-in-law, Bernie Schipper and David York. She is survived by: her husband Elden "Al" Troyer; her children, Sandy (Gene DeWitt), Kathy (Robb Alberda), Mark (Dawn Troyer), Beth (Bill Henderson) and Todd Troyer; and her sister Arlene York. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
