We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2023, at the age of 86, Bernard Grooters of Jenison, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his siblings, Dan Grooters and Daughn Cook; his children, Becky, Ed Steenbergen, Bernie, Pattie Grooters, Bev and Der Prins; his grandchildren, Tracy, Bruce Deemter, Brad, Tonya Steenbergen, Jodi, Todd Veldhouse, Jackie, Corey Terpstra, Bernie Grooters III, Mike, Annie Prins, Kyle, Taryn Prins, Matt and Miranda Prins; his siblings, Bill, Bernice Grooters and Stan Grooters; and his siblings-in-law, Joy, Gord Bouws, Helen Kuipers, Judy Geers, Randy and Peg Mulder. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Because of Bernie's commitment to Christian Education, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to a Christian School of one's choice.
