She was predeceased by: her daughter Tricia Thomas; her son-in-law Kirt; her parents, Marie Bouwsema and Willem Bouwsema; her stepmother Lucy; and her siblings, Bill Bouwsema and Claire Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Don; and her children, Lynda Vredeveld (Mike, family: Chris Vredeveld, Jayden, Pierce, Kim Fox, Hannah, Daniel, Benjamin, Andie Schaner, Waylon, Colter) and Mike Huisman (Chantha, family: Jessica Huisman, Cynthia Merrifield, Sena).
