She was predeceased by: her husband John Gawarecki; and her son Tony Gawarecki. She is survived by: her siblings, Josephine and Peter; her daughter Josephine Mondro of Commerce Township; her grandchildren, Philip Mondro, Jason Mondro, Rebecca Valko (Mondro), Tonia Boeye (Gawarecki) and Anna Gawarecki; and her great grandchildren, Maya Boeye, Regina "Gina" Mondro, Ben Mondro, Thomas Mondro, Zack Valko and Ethan Valko.
