He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Poissant and Therese Poissant (Trudell); his wife Joan Hainault; his son Mario; his son-in-law Steve; and his brother Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie (Ed), Kevin, Mickey (Jim), Joe (Shirley), Tim and Greg (Lisa); his grandchildren, Eric (Jenni), Stephanie (Todd), Holly (Andy), Abbey (Joe), Adam (Christi), Tom (Gina), Kori (Teddy), Jessey (Maddy), Jestina (Tyler), Brett (Taylor), Robert (Vivian) and Alex (Anna); and his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Benjamin, Sophia, Jacob, Harper, Joey, Freddy, George, Louis, Clint, Evelyn, Riley, Gabby, Rhyan, Mazie, Jameson and Silas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Joseph Church Memorial Fund in Ishpeming.
