He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Waldo Ely; and his brother Randy Ely. He is survived by: his mother Leona Carolyn Ely (Art); his grandsons, Ayden, Alexander, Marshall and Leonardo; his siblings, Bryan Ely (Glenda), Troy Ely (Janet), Greg Ely (Mary), Gayle McGeorge (Dwaine) and Joni Mountz (Mark); and his girlfriend Penny Jean Olson. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
