He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomacine H. Willey (Liberato) and Clarence Marvin Willey (Tab); and his brothers, John Patrick Willey and Louis Willey. He is survived by: his wife Stacey A. Willey (Gronvall); his children, Addey Quigley (Eric) of Marquette, Dan A. Willey (Loretta) of Ishpeming, Mathew Willey of Negaunee, Ana Morrison (Robert) of Ishpeming and Sarah Borski (Tyler) of Ishpeming; his stepsons, Randy of Ishpeming and James Larkins of Ishpeming; his brothers, Clarence "Tabby" Willey (Sherrie) of Negaunee, James Willey of Hopkinsville, KY and Steve Willey of Negaunee; his sister-in-law Debbie Willey of Ishpeming; and his in-laws, Sharon and Robin Gronvall of Ishpeming. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests memorials be directed to the Marquette County Victim Services Unit, c/o Marquette Co. Sheriff's Dept, 236 W. Baraga Ave, Marquette, MI 49855 a cause near and dear to Dan's heart.
