He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Nurmela. He is survived by: his mother Laura Nurmela (Maki); his sister Amy Nurmela (Brandon Nelson); his nieces and nephews, Carson, Riley, Ethan, Gavin and Andrew; and his close friend Steph Carello. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
