He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Ahonen; his children, Bradley "Dudley" Smith (Karin) of Kimball, WI, Keith Smith (Vanessa) of Somerset, WI., Heidi Doney (Gary Zindorf) of Gile, WI., Corey Smith (Cassie), Hampshire and Ill; his stepchildren, Jacqueline Vertigan (Craig Swerdfiger) of Otsego, MN, Julie Huotari (Tim) of Woodruff, WI, Dale Ahonen and Hurley; his grandchildren, Jordan, Emily Smith, Aleah Nasi, Cameron Smith, Marcus Doney, Adalynn, Lydia Smith, Julia Mosconi, Olivia Mosconi (Zach Cassutt), Drake Swerdfiger, Jenna Masomi (Qafar), Mason Wroblewski and Jacie Huotari; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Smith and Sekander Masomi. He is also survived by other relatives, neighbors, and innumerable friends.
