He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Krause and Patricia Krause (Wallie); his grandparents, Egan, Stella Krause, Charles and Eva Tolvanen; his uncle Joseph; and his aunt Judy Krause.
He is survived by: his wife Rosanne Engel; his siblings, Tom Krause of Howard, Paul Krause of Viroqua, Wis. and Jackie Hampston (Dan) of Bessemer; his aunt Diane Newman; his nieces and nephews, Chuck Hampston (Katie), Patrick Hampston (Chelsea), Stephanie Breitenfeldt (Zak), Caryn Miller (Sam) and Amanda Sabel (Ryan); his great-nephews, Quin, Lowell Hampston, Max and Simon Breitenfeldt; and his cousins, Joe Krause and Jeanine Krause.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Hope Animal Shelter in Ironwood.
