He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester On and Leone Magdziak On (Kowalkowski); and his siblings, Wally and Francelle. He is survived by: his wife Linda Potinsky; his children, Wendy Backlund (Mickey) of Montreal Wisconsin, Kim Kieber of Ironwood and Michael Magdziak of Kimball, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Nathan Magdziak (Amanda), Alex Hautanen (Ashley), Travis Hautanen, Mitch Kieber (Kara), Ashley Kristo (Fabian) and Josie Magdziak; his great grandchildren, Landon, Violet, Lucas, Jaxson, Garrett and Parker; and his siblings, Paul and Janet.
