It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Luella Semo of Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Celestin "Lefty" Trier and Margaret "Peg" Trier (Ryan); her husband Joseph R. Semo; and her siblings, Francis "Red" Trier, John "Jack" Trier, David "Jim" Trier, Tim Trier, Celestin "Joe" Trier, Michael Trier, Margaret "Torchy" Ramuta, Flora "Jean" Pavlovich, Patricia "Tisha" Leinon, Gertrude "Molly" Backlund and Catherine "Susie" Caruso.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Stella (Brian) of Ironwood, Joanne Kovales (Ryan) of Ironwood, Rae Marie Semo of Ironwood, Charlie Semo (Debbie) of Ironwood, Robert Semo of Ironwood, Anne Davey (Sam) of Ironwood and Joseph Semo Jr. of Gleason, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Brian Stella (Tina), Angela Brogan (Scott), Paul Semo (Jennifer), Charlie Semo Jr., Dan Stella (Tara), Sam Davey IV (Hallie), Jill Walker (Gary), Bob Semo Jr. and John Semo (Gina); her great grandchildren, Brittany, Lexi Lou, Tony, Jack, Brynn, Gianna and Jaxson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Grace, Faith, Wyatt, Olivia, Sam, Emma and Ben; her sisters-in-law, Helen Lawver, Betty Semo, Jan Trier and Peg Trier; her goddaughter Nicole Wickham; her kitty Lulu; and her pets, Lacey and Jasper. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
