Virginia Rahoi Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Virginia Rahoi of Iron Mountain, Michigan, born in Quinnesec, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wonders and Clara Wonders (LeMieux); her husband Joseph "Bunzie" Rahoi Sr.; her son Brian Rahoi; her grandson Christopher; and her siblings, Joseph Wonders, Robert Wonders, Harry Wonders, Helen Chandler, Louise McKinnon and Lucille Doney.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Jr. Rahoi (Cynthia), Robert Rahoi, Harry Rahoi (Mary), Linda Haleen, Frank Rahoi (Donna), Paul Rahoi (Karen), Hennepin and Ill; her grandchildren, Stacey Calcaterra (Marc), Lynn Rahoi, Leon Rahoi, Leanna Rahoi, David Rahoi, Michael Rahoi (Meghan), Adam Haleen (Janae), Mark Haleen (Courtney), Sara Demetrick (Shane), Katie D'Cruz (Ben), Logan Watts and Hamilton Watts; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Michael Calcaterra, Ada, Jaylynn, Alex Haleen, Taylor, Sawyer, Calder Demetrick, Virginia, Solano Rahoi, Aiden D'Cruz, Maci Watts and Remington Watts; and her sister Marion Wollum.
Aside from her superior cooking skills, which she shared for a time at a local restaurant (after having converted soup-making into an art form), Ginny's community involvement included donations of food to those in need and many years of service on the election board.
