She was predeceased by: her father Donald Cowling. She is survived by: her mother Janice Cowling (Bastian); her husband Allen Oakes; her sons, James Oakes and Jeremy Oakes (Catie); her grandson Aiden Oakes; and her siblings, Donald Cowling Jr. (Melissa), Johnny Cowling (Hester), Ronnie Cowling, Danny Cowling, Chuck Cowling (Bonnie), Tammy Wonch (Pete), Joanny Grenfell (Dave), Bonnie Norman (Richard) and Kristal Kusmitch (Butch). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
