He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Janousek and Margaret Janousek (Seitz); and his siblings, Edward Janousek, Adele Shattuck and Kathleen Lyda.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Murphy; his children, Mark of Surprise, AZ, Dawn Mellenthin (Dennis) of Green Bay, WI, Trish Rieschl (Butch) of Birchwood, WI and Kim; his grandchildren, Andrea Krinke (John), Dan Mellenthin, Chris Rieschl (Madison), Tracy Kennen (Derek), Paige Janousek and Eden Janousek; his great grandchildren, Adison, Brody, Shelby and Jax; and his sisters, Joyce Fryklund and Marian Flaminio. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any local veteran's charities.
