It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma J. Capra Lachapelle (Iron Mountain, Michigan), who passed away on December 1, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nygard and Signe Nygard (Blomquist); and her former husband Philip Capra. She is survived by: her husband Jack LaChapelle; her children, Cathy Hanson (Capra), John Capra (Gail) of Iron Mountain and Dan Capra (Mary); her grandchildren, Mark Pasten (Diana), Natalie White (Judd), Carlo Capra (Tera), Casey Pirkola (Robert), Claire Capra, Nathan Capra, Matthew Capra (Bre) and Philip Capra; and her stepchildren, Rene LaChapelle and Linette Hiller (John) of Iron Mountain. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
