He was predeceased by: his parents, Fadel George and Mary George (Swor); his sons, Paul "Squeak" George and David "Fidel" George; his siblings, Dr. Robert George, Charlotte Gustafson, Georgette Rovge and Rosie Sovey; his parents-in-law, Charles and Gertrude Dowdle; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Bodell, Don, Jim Dowdle and Shirley Alleva.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice; his daughters, Cynthia Skrumbellos of Peavy Fall, MI and Jane Qualley (T. J. Wilkinson) of Kingsford, MI; his brother Duane George (Jean) of Oshkosh, WI; his grandchildren, Audrey Sparapani (Norman Siren), Brett Sparapani, Rhiannon Qualley-Harrison (Thaddeus Harrison), Clayton Qualley and Natalie Skrumbellos; his great grandchildren, Whiteny Siren, Eli Siren and Lincoln Siren; his brothers-in-law, Albert and John Dowdle; his cousins, Barbara Marinelli and Rose Marie Jayne; and his nieces, Susan Stadler and Tina Francis. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
