Estelle M. Halborg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Estelle M. Halborg (Iron Mountain, Michigan), born in Chassell, Michigan, who passed away on January 11, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eino Kemppainen and Esther Kemppainen (Maki); and her brother Paul Kemppainen. She is survived by: her husband Thomas C. Halborg; her daughters, Carrie Schaller (Mike) of Midland and Julie Watkins (Andrew) of Iron Mountain; her grandchildren, Kate, Jack, Maggie Schaller, Colin and Mya Watkins; her siblings, Robert Kemppainen (Barb) of Auburn, AL, Gloria Case (Ron) of Ponte Vedra, FL and Carol Carli (Don) of Hancock; and her sister-in-law Ann Kemppainen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
It was evident in many ways that Estelle had a true love for babies, and with that in mind, the family would like to request that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in her memory.
