He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Turrie and Kathleen Turrie (Seymour); his wife Dawn Turrie (Stanhope); and his siblings, Michael Turrie, Dorothy West (Ray) and Judy Swanson.
He is survived by: his daughter Jacqueline Johnson (Karl) of Marquette, Mich.; his grandson Ryan Johnson of Marquette; his sisters, Marilyn Laydon and Margaret Goudreau (Donald) of Iron Mountain, Mich.; and his nephew Timmy Sundquist.
