It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ila Marie Orwig of Ionia, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Slocum and Lorraine Boroff Slocum (Hillard); her husband Walter Orwig, Sr.; her siblings, Anne Munschy and Terry Boroff; and her sister-in-law Jean Boroff.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard Orwig (Donna) of Sheridan and Walter Orwig, Jr. (Crystal); her brothers, Bruce Boroff (Kay) of Ionia and Keith Boroff of Belding; her brother-in-law Andrew Munschy of Ionia; and her stepsister Lauretta Chambless (Robert) of Holland. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
