He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Brower and Garrietta Brower (Timmer); his brothers, Gill Brower (Ida), Glen Brower (Ruth), Alvin Brower, Justin Brower (Marcia), Keith Brower (Sharon), Melvin Brower and Jimmy Brower; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Brower (Corynna Boer).
He is survived by: his wife Jane Lems; his children, Vicki Van Overloop (Greg), Ronda Wieringa (Rick) and Brad Brower (Ruth); his great grandchildren, Ross Van Overloop, Bryant, Dee Van Overloop, Alyssa, Jordan Van Baren, Blake, Lindsey Wieringa, Trenton, Chelsea Wieringa, Jori, Eli Yeong, Austin, Rachel Brower (Graham), Brendan, Casey Brower, Alexzandria, Colton, Danielle, Sammantha and Annikkah; his siblings, Paul Brower (Esther), Bernie Brower (Mary) and Gloria Zylstra (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Karen Brower, Karren De Young (Bob) and Henry Boer.
