He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Bouma; his parents, Aukie Bouma and Clara Bouma; his parents-in-law, Albert and Ann Brunsting; his brother Calvin Bouma; his siblings-in-law, Erv Zeerip, Don Ferner and Molly Brunsting; his nephew David Bouma; and his niece Terri Brinks.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Van Noord (Dave), Pam Ulven (Kirk), Christie Hoekstra (Scott) and Karri Murphy (Matt); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Courtney, Collin Van Noord, Kayli Moore, Justin, Brendon Hoekstra, Emma Lacy (Kyle), Amber, Shelby, Zade Ulven, Taylor, Brayden and Ava Murphy; his great grandchild Alexander Moore; his siblings, John Bouma (Joan), Harold Bouma (Ann), Nance Quist (Ald), Esther Zeerip, Shirley Brinks and Pat Shananaquet; and his siblings-in-law, Annette Bouma, Butch Brunsting, Ralph Brunsting (Carol), Don Brunsting (Marilyn), Fred Brunsting, Bertie Ferner and Minnie Bacon (Curt). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
