He is survived by: his spouse Catherine Commenator; his children, Amy Hartley of Hudson, MI, Sarah Hartley of Superior Township, MI and Dan Hartley (Alyssa) of Hudson, MI; his grandchildren, Eli and Holly; and his siblings, Marie Hartley of Hudson, James L. Hartley Jr (Deanna) of Adrian, MI and Dennis Hartley (Jill) of Adrian, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
