He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kerr and Florence Kerr (Dunlap); his son David R. Kerr; his grandson Michael David Kerr; and his brothers, Doyce and Dan Kerr.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Waters; his children, Debbie Arredondo (Edward) of Clayton, Steve Kerr (Debbie) of Hudson and Teri Botter (Mark); and his brothers, Don of Hudson and Dale Kerr of Hudson.
Memorial contributions to honor David are suggested to benefit Hospice of Lenawee.
