She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrie Ellis and Elsie Ellis (Gray); and her brothers, James and William Ellis. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gagnon (Mike) of Chassell and Leanne Soumis (Bill) of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; her grandsons, Jason Gagnon (Heather), Jeremy Gagnon (Missy), Jake Soumis (Dinara), Ben Soumis and Gabe Soumis (Lorena); her great grandchildren, Braden, Cameron, Khloe Gagnon, Nickolai, Alexander, Maxsim, Luca and Logan Soumis; her nephew Rod Grainger (Yo); and her son Gary Hall (Gail). She is also survived by boys, their wives and children.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family suggests a donation in Ione's memory to the Trenary United Methodist Church.
