Harvey Schwartz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2022, at the age of 95, Harvey Schwartz (Holt, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harvey Schwartz to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schwartz and Celia Schwartz; his wife Cathryn; his son Thomas; his stepfather Eli Ezray; and his half-sister Joyce Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Virtue (Richard) of South Carolina; his daughter-in-law Jacqueline Schwartz of Okemos; his grandchildren, Justin Schwartz, Jonathan Schwartz, Andrew Virtue and Katlin Virtue; his stepsister Lee Katlein (Stanley); and his friends, Mike and Carol Saunders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Independence Village of East Lansing for their kind care and attention to Harvey, as well as a special thank you to his devoted and dearest friends Mike and Carol Saunders, who could always make him laugh and kept his need for sweets fulfilled even throughout a pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Lansing Food Bank or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in memory of Harvey Schwartz.
