She was predeceased by: her sister Betty. She is survived by: her former husband Richard Fellows; her daughter Joy; her husband Earl Van Valkenburg; and her daughters, Gay (Norm) and Jill. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was a longtime member of St. Katherine's Episcopal Church in Williamston, Michigan, and any donations can be made to the church.
