He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Everett and Reuben Everett; his wife Joyce Goodnoe; and his siblings, Loren Everett, Shirley Lacchia and Joanne Cole.
He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, George Goodnoe and Kenny Goodnoe; his sons, Gary Everett (Liana) of Texas and Bruce Everett (Cindy) of Florida; his grandchildren, David Everett, Nicole Keenan, Jason Everett, Alexandra McCall and Chase Everett; and his close friend Yvonne Nelson.
