He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Sheffield; his children, Richard (Mary Kay) of Mason, Donald (Carol) of White Heath, IL and Marikay Teremi (Kurt) of Lansing; his grandchildren, Sarah Backerman (Jeff), Matthew Westerhof (Jen), Leanna Duemler (Kurtis), Samantha Teremi and Kendal Westerhof; his great grandchildren, Emma and Mason Backerman; and his sister-in-law Pat Westerhof.
