He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert George and Dorothy McConnell (Weyand); his wife Patricia McConnell; his children, Bryan McConnell (Cindy), Rhonda Batchelder (Scott), Wanda Hardee, Robert McConnell (Karen), Susan Johnston (Richard), Diane Steck and Linda McConnell; and his siblings, Joan Anderson (late Bruce), Judy Stevens, Terrance McConnell (Joann), Guy McConnell (Helen) and Barbra McConnell. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
