He is survived by: his children, William Shaffer (Jessi), Kari Shaffer and Brent Shaffer (Bethany); his grandchildren, Noah, Emma, Victoria, Auden, Nolan and Cohen; and his sisters, Blanche King (Bruce) and Valerie Shaffer.
