He was predeceased by: his fathers, Shirley MacKenzie and Rolland "Mac" MacKenzie; and his siblings, Jack MacKenzie and Norma Baker. He is survived by: his wife Susan MacKenzie; his children, John Patrick MacKenzie (Kate), Meghan MacKenzie (Robert Zalewski), Stephanie Bennett and Rob Bennett; his grandchildren, Cecelia, Max, Josephine, Francesca, Karl, Veronica Zalewski and Rocco Caponigro; and his sisters, Sally Schultz, Sandy McDaniel (George), Karen Freeman and Kathy McKenney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
