He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Buckingham and Margaret Buckingham; his sister Carol Akre; and his nephew Scott Buckingham. He is survived by: his close friend Hyapatia Overturf; his daughter Melissa Nolan (Emmett); his brother Wally Buckingham (Joan); his grandchildren, Thomas Nolan, Liam Nolan and Lillie Nolan; his niece Andrea Buckingham; and his nephews, Robert Cason (Corrie), Jonathan Cason, Jared Cason and Mark Cason.
