She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Kolean. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Kolean and Kathie VanLiere (Matt); her grandchildren, Skyler, Kaden, Adyson and Breya; her siblings, Jim Fletcher (Sandy) and Sallie Box; and also Yumiko Nakajima. She is also survived by her sisters.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Faith Hospice or the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
