He is survived by: his wife Laurel; his children, Tracey Hornbeck (Jon), Jason Eichorst (Jen), Stephen De Wall (Wendy), Kimberly Rubin (Aaron) and Melissa Tamminga (Jon); his siblings, Linda Allen and Robert Woodward (Mary); and his in-laws, Sherrill Palsrok (Russ), Elaine Vanderleest (Case), Brian Frens (Carol), Denise Volbeda and Gayle Bultsma (Craig). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland http://www.hollandhospice.org, and Gateway Mission http://www.hopefoundhere.org.
