She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Bouwman and Reka Bouwman (Minnema); her husband Gordon VanDerMeulen; her sons, Rick (Mary VanDerMeulen), Dr. Douglas (Kathy VanDerMeulen) and Scot (Mary VanDerMeulen); her grandchildren, Beth, Jeff Maat, Alicia, Scott De Graaf, Dr. Matthew, Lacey VanDerMeulen, Amy, Benjamin Smith, Michael, Kirsten VanDerMeulen, Katelyn, Joel Meyers, Lisa and Mark Tanis; her sister Gayle Hoag; and her in-laws, Patti Bouwman, Ruth Lee, Marianne VanDerMeulen, Arlene Glass, Bruce and Mary VanDerMeulen. She was also cherished by 19 great-grandchildren, many extended family and friends.
