He was predeceased by: his mother Susan Prins. He is survived by: his father Herschel Prins; his sons, Derick (Amy Prins) and David (Danielle Prins); his grandchildren, Annakin and Lucas; and his siblings, Calvin, Faith Prins, Ruth, Greg DeHaan and Paul Prins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
