He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben G. Lindeberg and Hattie Lindeberg (Ball); his wife Rena Perella of Valentine's Day; his daughter Sherry Ann; his siblings, Merle Lindeberg and Lucille Burt; his brother-in-law Jim Burt; his sister Doris Oliver; his sister-in-law Laurie Lindeberg; and his in-laws, Paul and Elsie Johnson.

He is survived by: his daughter Gail Van Vels; his son-in-law Randy Van Vels; his grandsons, Daniel Lannen and Patrick Lannen (Alexandra); his great grandchild Vasiliki Rena Lannen; his grandchildren, Candi Skinner (Rob) and Allison Webbert (Chad); his brother Norman Lindeberg (late Laurie); and his siblings-in-law, Dick Oliver (late Doris) and Dona Lindeberg (late Merle). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
