She was predeceased by: her husbands, Harold Vander Ploeg, Donald Michmerhuizen and Kenneth Beelen; her son Steven Vander Ploeg; her stepdaughter Beth Bouws; her stepson-in-law Charles Walker; her siblings, Thelma Deters, Shelby Beagle, Robert Beagle and David Beagle; and her mother Agnes Beagle (Aggie).

She is survived by: her children, Michael Vander Ploeg (Barbara) and Brenda De Jonge (Scott); and her stepchildren, Robert Michmerhuizen (Barbara), Donna Dorn (Mike), Diane Lievense (Butch), Martha Frens (Bruce), John Bouws, Karen Walker, Sandy Hirdes (Steve), Kathy Beelen, Joan Beelen-Hirdes (Randy), Ken, Jr. Beelen (Nancy), Michael Beelen and Gary Beelen (Teresa). She is also survived by Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
